The final vestiges of Anderton's East — which closed New Year's day 2006 — are being removed today.

would've made a great beer garden. we can use one in midtown. and a real estate office is nothing to get excited about...

Where is Memphis Heritage? Why aren't they speaking out and trying to save this?

Memphis Heritage, according to their history of doing business, will eventually be auctioning architectural salvage from the demolition. And the real crime against humanity is that the owner was approached YEARS ago and would not even consider leasing the building. He let it decay on purpose. Consider that next time you visit his other establishment, Celtic Crossing.

sbanbury- don't hate. there's no need to be jealous of this chiseled spectacle of human perfection. just sit back and enjoy the show.
