Really, Ben Ferguson?

I can only stomach so much of WREC's conservative-radio talk-show host Ben Ferguson, but he did bring up some interesting points during last night's show.

The first, as I was recounting it to coworkers, sounded so bizarre, that I'm now not sure I wasn't hearing things.

When I tuned in, Ferguson was mocking something he had eaten recently that touted its ingredients that make for an earth-friendlier poop.

I do not know if this purported meal is something that is processed or from a restaurant, and I've never heard anything like it. Has anyone else encountered this?

The second point was a hypothetical question that Ferguson, who does not believe in man-made global warming, posed: Would you rather quit eating meat now and live to 85 or eat all you want and die at 65?

He said his friends, when asked, split down gender lines.

... And then I switched the station. Like I said, there's only so much I can take.
