Food Fetish The Dude Abides

Spotted this drink-specials card at lunch today at the Blue Monkey downtown.

WTH?, I thought. Turns out, Caucasian is also known as a White Russian. And ... the Dude of The Big Lebowski uses the two names interchangeably.

A White Russian and a Caucasian would be interchangeable, given the geographic location of the Caucasus. As such, both should contain vodka, not whiskey.

Maybe the Blue Monkey should re-christen their drink a "Conan O'Brien" or something.

You know your bartender is cool when you order a "Big Lebowski" and he replies "you mean a caucasian?".
