Taking over the spot where the old High Point Pinch used to be, Ferraro’s Pizzeria and Pub brings an Italian flair to Uptown. They invited us to sample their menu items at a soft opening Wednesday (grand opening is Friday), and my colleagues and I were greeted by the lovely owner, Andrea Ferraro.

The spread was pretty remarkable: pizza with prosciutto and one with roasted vegetables:

Stromboli, their house specialty:

And a number of salads (caprese and antipasto), pastas, and soups (pasta e fagioli and tortellini with sausage):

Their pizza prices range from $2.50 to $3.50 a slice, and they offer an extensive menu of toppings: tomato, onion, mushroom, eggplant, roasted pepper, feta, roasted garlic, ricotta, goat cheese, gouda, beef, ham, prosciutto, salami, capicola, anchovies, and more. They also offer free delivery “downtown, uptown, and all around.”
