Lucchesi's on QVC

He's got a mere 8 minutes to sell his ravioli and sauce, but he points out that another QVC vendor sold $70,000 of popcorn in that time.
In fact, says Robilio, it was another big-seller that got him to QVC. According to Robilio, Jimmy Stovall of Corky's hooked him up after a lot of success with QVC.
Robilio took QVC's "Guest Services" class and was tested on his comfort level in front of a camera.
And was he comfortable?
"Well, yeah," Robilio says, "I passed."
The next test comes Thursday when Robilio will have 17,000 units of spinach-Gorgonzola ravioli and a choice of Alfredo or marinara sauce to sell. Six pounds of ravioli and sauce will be going for under $50.
For those you planning on strolling right in to Lucchesi's to order the spinach-Gorgonzola and thereby skipping the shipping costs, not so fast ... "It's exclusive for QVC," Robilio says.
