Lazy Cakes: 1 Million Sold

In the issue hitting the stands tomorrow is a Q&A with Terry Harris, CEO of HBB, the maker of Lazy Cakes Relaxation Brownies.

According to Harris, they were about to hit or had just passed the 1 million mark of brownies sold, which may explain the plane:

Other points of interest that didn't make the story ...

• Harris is 40 and went to Germantown High School.

• Harris and business partner Tim Barham came up with the idea of Lazy Cakes while on a beach in Florida.

• Speaking of Florida, the brownies are made in Tampa.

• Harris has a background in food. His family owns two businesses that provide packaged foods to grocery stores.
