Graeter's Peppermint Stick Ice Cream

Now available for a limited time: Graeter's Peppermint Stick Ice Cream.
Graeter's, a small-batch, hand-packed ice cream company based in Ohio, sent me a sample to try and it is very good.
I make my own peppermint ice cream, which involves melting 1 pound of peppermint discs into milk, stirring in cream, and then freezing it.
My family generally makes it at Christmas. The most time-consuming aspects are unwrapping the peppermints and stirring the peppermints and the milk on the stove. Both are chores, but it's a good time to catch up — how's school?, where did Dad get those shoes?, I won't talk politics if you don't ...
The Graeter's ice cream and my family's version taste the same to me, and I am one to lean toward convenience above all. Plus, Graeter's ice cream includes cute chunks of peppermint stick.
