Alan Richman praises the east Memphis culinary powerhouse for its pizzas, which can be "simple and traditional," or "like nothing you’ve seen before;" for its peanut butter pie and "sweet-and-spicy" sweetbreads; and for "a style of cooking that seems not to have existed until Hog & Hominy came along."
