A Touch of Stealth

Well, we knew something was fishy when we showed up for our massage appointment and saw, ahem, greasy handprints... and a footprint on the massage room wall in a most curious place. Now we're not saying anything was amiss at this local spa, we're just sayin'... But A Touch of Health is just one in a long line of businesses that close up shop in the dead of night, leaving customers holding the bag. Crump Padgett Antiques comes to mind, as does the Blue Moon restaurant (where Elfo's is now), whose employees came to work to find they were locked out. For good.

As our dear, drunk uncle used to slur, "You'll never go broke in Memphis operating a liquor store." Something to think about for these belly-up business folks. Read the full story here.
