From Black Snake Moan to Country Croonin'

Memphis-based director Craig Brewer's next film will be called Maggie Lynn, reports Variety. The film is the story of a woman who gets her heart broken and achieves a sense of self-worth by returning home to Tennessee, where she teams with her older brother to play country music in honkytonks. John Singleton will produce, with production to begin later this year.
