Where's the cheapest gas in Memphis?

Glad you asked. As of yesterday, it was a Mapco station at 680 North Bellevue, which had regular at $2.71 a gallon, six cents cheaper than any place else in Memphis and 12 cents cheaper than the average price hereabouts.

How do we know this valuable info? Simple. We went to this cool website and typed in our zip code.

It's a great example of how the Internet can help save you money. The site even gives you a map of the top 30 or so cheapest stations in the area. Scroll down to compare your favorite station.

And where is the cheapest gas in the country? Just across the river in Marion, Arkansas, at a jaw-dropping $2.27 a gallon. Well worth the drive, we'd say.
