"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" Opens At Threshold Theater

Good grief. The Peanuts characters are coming to Midtown’s Galloway United Methodist Church, the current venue for Threshold Theater.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, running June 1-3 and June 8-9-10, is the third play offered by Threshold Theater, which was launched in 2006. “Its purpose is to fill the gap of small-cast, high-quality, affordable productions, says spokesperson Skip Howard. “We want to open the doors of theatre, and provide a gateway, or threshold, for more community shows.

Howard says the group chose the Charlie Brown play because “it’s easy to do with a six-member cast, requires minimal sets and props, is recognized by everyone, and is a good way to introduce kids to theater.

The show is directed by Drew Massengale, and stars Jason Blank, Danielle Carr, Dan Floyd, Jimmy Hoxie, Jamie Kirkland, and Ernie Robinson. For more information call 219-6845.
