Racist A--Holes to Gather in Memphis for Convention

Posted by John Branston on Mon, Sep 8, 2008 at 4:00 AM

On November 8th, white supremacists from around the globe will gather in Memphis for the Euro International Conference, hosted by David Duke.

According to DavidDuke.com: "Just a few short days after the political and media bosses install a new President of the United States; we will meet in Memphis, Tennessee, to issue a clarion call for a Movement across the United States, and indeed across the European-American world, to defend our heritage and freedom!

"We will assemble to say clearly that neither Black Radical, Barrack Obama (sic), nor Mr. Amnesty, John McCain truly represent the will of the American people."

There's more, but it's too depressing to share. Except for this: "It will be held in a first-class, premier hotel in a beautiful and secure country setting that is still just a short ride from the Memphis region airport. This fine hotel has agreed to a reduction of almost 40 percent off their normal rates."

Gee, wonder what fine establishment agreed to give these upstanding folks 40 percent off? (We're looking into it.)

Makes a whole lot of sense for them to meet in the only major metro area in the nation that is majority black, doesn't it? Here's hoping they stay home in their trailers and don't come.

This same group held their 2004 convention in New Orleans at the Airport Plaza Hotel. This big ol' Nazi throw-down is described on David Duke's web site. Seems 300 of his like-minded brothers were there, and enjoyed great discounted breakfasts in the hotel restaurant. Wonder if any of the servers were non-white! Or Jewish! Horrors!

They are coming here because Tinker and Bailey are the speakers.

One of the things that I find hardest about embracing a philosophy of tolerance, is being tolerant of intolerant jerks like Dukes et al.

Posted by Neondragon on | Report this comment

I'm guessing DeSoto County for sure. Or, dare I say it, a casino hotel?

Actually, Duke is far less racist than most people. He stands for the rights of white people, too, and not in exclusion of the rights of others, and that's the amazing truth. Read his website. Search for "Kramer" and "N word", you will find his piece on how he really feels about using that word. It is the _Flyer_ who is into calling people nasty names.

I think I know where it is. Went to a wedding that fits that description. but would hate to ruin their name if i was wrong. This would be a good day for none of the Taxis to be working the airport. Do a Pulaski on them and deny them service with a smile.

Every hotel offers discounts on room rates for conventions. You really get upset for some of the silliest reasons. And foul language is no argument, it just shows your own ignorance. Calling Duke an A-hole or a racist or whatever, is quite similar to the mob screaming witch or heretic in the middle ages. What? You think that Duke and his cohorts don't have the right to meet or be treated like any other group? Is that tolerance? Is that America? Although certainly there is much to disagree with about Duke, I don't know of any nationally known politician who has had the guts to stand up against the most powerful force in American politics AIPAC and the Jewish Lobby. While most politicians stood by, he actively opposed the Iraq War. In well-reasoned arguments he explained BEFORE the war that there were no weapons of mass destruction. He is one of the few who have dared to talk about the plight and suffering of the hundreds of thousands of Palestinian people who were terrorized and kicked out of their homes and then not allowed to even go back to where they and their ancestors 20 generations were born. Men, women and children who have suffered 50 years of brutal occupation. You are the kind of liberals who hate David Duke for defending his own heritage and rights, but who support Israel, a nation of segregated schools, settlements, in fact a nation where it is not even legal for a Jew and a non-Jew to marry! You are the kind who sees no problem with advocacy groups for African Americans, Mexican Americans and Jews, all working for their perceived interests, but if European Americans do so it is hatred and intolerance to you. You somehow think it is moral to racially discriminate against a young White person, who by the way can be poor as dirt with a broken family, but condemn discrimination against Black guy even if he is the rich and privileged son of Jesse Jackson. Unlike you, this liberal is opposed to all kinds of discrimination. I am a liberal, but I am not your brand of myopic, hypocritical liberalism. People who think for themselves can determine who is the a-hole.

Support of the great black nation of haters of Euro-america that make Bill Cosby want to vomit. I agree with Dr.M , acturally I feel the human race needs a clencing becuase the stupidity of humanity is without a doubt showwing here, both black and white.... Why is it that blacks , Afro-america, wishes nothing more then to do as the KKK and afro-haye groups do towards them. Seriously, I think there should be a law stating that all hate groups including the NAACP(After what Bill Cosby tried to do and the reaction NAACP took is clear signs of it) should be concidered terrorist, hunted down like Bin Ladan. Any hate or racial group I wish nothing but to put you all in an arena and let you all kill each other, period. Since it is what you want isn't it? You could say I hate humans or better terming I hate stupid humans who make it hard as hell for the rest of those who are good, kind, and conciderate people both black and white, purple too. I rest my peace...

But if we can't be united over thinking David Duke is a racist asshole then ........I am even shocked that his supporters know how to use a PC. I guess I will have to rethink my opinion of them as methed out, bitter, sister bonking, trailer trash. That felt good.

Since this article, I have been looking over Dr. David Duke's website. I have read quite a few of his articles now and feel I have a much better sense of the man than I did just two days ago. I noticed that Dr. Duke, unlike you, never refers to people he disagrees with as a-holes. I have discovered that Dr. Duke, a college professor who now lectures and is greatly respected in Europe, actually condemns White supremacism and all forms of racial and religious supremacism. I also note with surprise as a long-credtentialed liberal, that he is quite an iconoclast. He is a strong ecologist and protector of the environment. He believes in absolute freedom of speech and all basic constitutional freedoms, unlike the Congress (both democrats and republicans} who voted for the unpatriotic Patriot Act. He was right from the beginning about the insanity of the Iraq War. I am now starting to understand why he received over 60 percent of the White vote in Louisiana for the U.S. Senate and Governor. He would have probably won in Tennessee. I doubt if I would have voted for him, but one thing is for sure, the fellow is articulate, espouses not an iota of hate, is a gentleman, I would love to hear this man who was outspent 100 to 1 in media, and who had the whole political establishment against him, yet still got 60 percent of the White vote. The hateful headline and comments of the Memphis Flyer against Duke will certainly bring out more people in Tennessee to the Conference where he will speak. Duke should send you a few bucks for the free advertising!

Why Memphis? A mayor that helped found his own subdivision rather than live too close to too many whites. A city councilman - considered a moderate! - who publically said his main concern was having a black mayor and a black majority on the city council. A CA editor who wrote his enjoyment of baseall depends on the skin color of the players. A CA columnist who wrote fondly of attending a rally organized by a man who called Jews "the Spawns of Satan." An alternative weekly that covers East Tenn. school and church shootings but considers an East Tenn. carjacking, kidnapping, gang-rape and murder (as brutal as the opening scene in Grishams' A Time To Kill) a nonevent. Duke and his haters and rascists will be among their own...

Hey Chris, Actually, there are lots of liberals who appreciate David Duke, and I am one of them. How so? I went to his website and decided to read for myself--instead of rolling along with media and press screed like this article, written by a hate monger. What is amazing are all the hate mongers writing into this comment section that hate David Duke just because they feel like hating him. None of you hate him for a reason--you've elected simply to be haters. Now, if you actually go to his website and READ (if you have enough intelligence to do so) you will find he has always been against the war on Iraq, believes we shuld bring the troops home now, is a fan of Cindy Sheehan, observes the occupation of the Palestinian as a human rights abuse, gives absolutely no support to Bush or McCain, voted for Nader (an Arab-American, btw) instead, think that Obama will do less damage than McCain, opposes using "the n-word", opposes supremacism of any kind...and when he talks about Jewish supremacism he gets ALL of his sources on the topic from Jewish writers and Jewish publications themselves. He doesn't need to get one word from a non-Jew to make his case against racism coming from Jews. Duke opened my eyes to black on white crime and it's near non-existance occurance by whites against blacks. I learned a couple years ago that according to the US Dept of Justice, in 2005 over 37,000 rapes were committed by blacks against white women--the same year rapes by whites against blacks was less than ten. The years before and since are similar. But the media will have everyone believing that whites are the criminals, and that is false. As a white woman I have a personal interest in this bit of info--my safety depends on my knowing and understanding that there are far more blacks who are violent haters of whites than the other way around. Guilting whites for not being more helpful than we already are, and putting us at risk and causing our victimization by violence through hatefully written articles such as this one is an act of racism itself. I oppose racism all around--including against whites, including against me. All of you who hate whites, and the author of this article, are the real haters.

Posted by Packrat on | Report this comment

Hey, Dr. Max, VA Gentlewoman, etc.... How can you defend David Duke? He is HOSTING this convention. This convention features speakers HE INVITED. Among the speakers is Don Black, founder of Stormfront (one of the most popular hate sites on the web). Don Black became Imperial Wizard of the KKK after Duke resigned the post. And as a member in good standing of the American Nazi Party, I'm sure he supported equal rights for all. Another guest speaker invited by Duke is Paul Fromm -- a Canadian Neo-Nazi leader who celebrates Hitler's birthday, has ties to the KKK, leads a group called the CFIRC which opposes the immigration of non-whites, and was stripped of his license to teach school last year because of his hate-filled ideology. These are only two of several equally-enlightened speakers set to hit the mic in Memphis come November.

B, fancycwabs, packrat, artypants, and olemiss: First, I was surprised to see posts by the liberal from Mississippi. No, he is not me. Second, I repeat, read David Duke's website for yourselves--he is not hateful. I will say that much of what some of you have written is very hateful. One thing I learned when I made conservative friends is that liberals are just as hateful and prejudiced as the people they point their fingers at--and all of you have proven my point. As a liberal I'm truly an oddity because I don't believe in hating someone just because the media and rags like this one tell me I'm supposed to. Now some input from a friend of mine about what happens when media, rags, movies, and the education system preach hatred against whites--the fact that none of you answer to the follow facts tells me you think it's ok white women get raped on account of their skin color--and such hatred should never be accepted by liberals, but unfortunately it is. Would this liberal rag come to the defense of rape victims, even though they are white and their perps black? I doubt it--so tell me who is the real hater: ""To see the real truth of the matter, let us take a look at the Department of Justice document Criminal Victimization in the United States, 2005. (Go to the linked document, and under "Victims and Offenders" download the pdf file for 2005.) In Table 42, entitled "Personal crimes of violence, 2005, percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, based on race of victims, by type of crime and perceived race of offender," we learn that there were 111,590 white victims and 36,620 black victims of rape or sexual assault in 2005. In the 111,590 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was white, 44.5 percent of the offenders were white, and 33.6 percent of the offenders were black. In the 36,620 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was black, 100 percent of the offenders were black, and 0.0 percent of the offenders were white. The table explains that 0.0 percent means that there were under 10 incidents nationally. In the United States in 2005, 37,460 white females were sexually assaulted or raped by a black man, while between zero and ten black females were sexually assaulted or raped by a white man. What this means is that every day in the United States, over one hundred white women are raped or sexually assaulted by a black man"

VAGentlewoman- Being someone who uses statistics everyday in my job, I would like to point out that you are an idiot (don't fret we need statistical dummies or I wouldn't have a job). Focusing on skin color is a ridiculous argument to make. How many rapes were white on white? How many were committed by people below the poverty level? How many were committed between the hours of 12 and 2 and in months with only 30 days? How many were the result alien abduction? 100% of all deaths are the direct result of life. I could go on and on. Maybe I will. "92% of all statistics are made up right there on the spot" - T Snider.

Such circular philosophizing to justify racism and assasination suggestions thinly disguised as discouragement are very clever tactics ... I mean for people like you. His younger subordinate replies, "But sir, you ARE The Man." The guy replies, "I know." Then the younger man says, "So, you're sticking it to yourself." "Maybe," the executive says. May be a fitting analogy. Just let Duke stick it to himself. I'd like to think that there is a cozy little corner of Hell reserved just for him, right next door to Hitler.
