If you are in a group that depends on solidarity and reasonable good working relationships in order to progress with your cause/business, and greater than typical conflict and drama seems to have originated at the time when Tawnee Cowan entered your group, there is no question that this is more than mere coincidence. It is a repeat pattern, it appears by these comments and by others I've spoken with with in regards to Tawnee. If you've not yet been entangled in any Tawnee web, I can only say to keep her at a safe distance and warn those who you trust- and who trust you - to do the same and why. Splitting up groups over her broadly reported claims of being the victim of disgusting yet extremely contrived appearing schemes - such as someone touched her rear end, roofied her, stole her work, is harassing her, etc - is the type of drama or slander you would expect. Drama travels with Tawnee...no wait... DRAMA IS TAWNEE.
We went to Memphis to hear the blues but ended up at Jerry Lee's place on Beale both nights to hear Jason James, can't beat his performance on piano and guitar!
The WORST, most expensive birthday party I have ever hosted for my child.
If you could SPELL "satire", I might believe you actually know what it means....my advanced degree in English lit tells me it is NOT satire, which I can also spell. Sociopaths lie. Always. And narcissists ALWAYS have to respond.
Her private comment to me about my post here...(I live in Washington) was "YOU have a MESS to clean up" Odd, as I didn't consider a comment about my experience with her, out of state, a MESS, and don't recall contracting to be one of her feckless minions. Classic narcissist...she threatened me with loss of friendship and community here if I "outed" her. Nice.
Scales are tools, and they weigh JUSTICE. The response and name calling REEK of sociopathy. Slither away, slither away...
I think when many people are telling the same story, with NOTHING to gain, and the individual has little or NO cooborating support, and MUCH to refute or gain, the group has the closer spin on the truth. I seriously see pictures when I hug someone, and I was careful to hug Tawnee many times when we met....something in her slithers away from my light. Something very black, that she loves.
This is a wonderful show with an excellent cast. If you're looking for a funny musical that is well done, definitely go see it!
Use of "St. Patty" as the diminutive for Saint Patrick shows an embarrassing ignorance of Irish culture. We all know that the diminutive of "Patrick" is "Pat". "St. Paddy" --- with D instead of T --- is the diminutive for the Irish language name for Patrick ---- PADRAIG. Maybe you've heard of the of the golfer Padraig Harrington? That's the Irish name of the saint that the Irish celebrate
It's ST. PADDY's DAY people! (or if you prefer --- Saint Pat's Day, based on the English name --- or maybe even St. Patsy's Day, although I've never seen that used.) For more info, look up the name "Patrick" at the "behindthename.com" web site.
Keep going...lol! Hang yourself! First she says the page is satire, then THEY stole her work, her reputation, turning the tables on them...Hmmm? so that justifies theft? Oops! She got caught and folks posted on her...so now-> The News paper article is a troll? and she's calling folks stupid for believing a news article about a theft that she was named in...Lol! Priceless! and her latest nude photo is not a pitiful shot of her with magic marker lines depicting her illness for all to pity* Pity is the >#1 hook used by cons to pull in the perfect patsy!
Renee, I AM a reputable person in music and animal rescue. She left a lot of carnage here in Florida. If her ways haven't negatively effected you, wait, it will.
I met Tawnee though friends. Very important, reputable, friends and are well respected in the Art, Music, Entertainment, and Educational community in Memphis, TN. They would have never risked their reputation, status, and future by backing this photographer/artist. The negative commits are just flat out wrong. They are slanderous and should not be taken as fact. Ask the reputable art community of Nashville, Memphis, Florida and Washington States, they will be more than happy to advise any one of the truth.
all of you are posting on a newspaper article following a troll. suckers.
Thanks for posting...really! Now she makes more sense, I have been posting on the group she is currently involved with...sociopaths and pedophiles! She hooked me with pity, pulled me in for a set-up and take down that messed with my head for a couple of weeks but I have ran across a lot of these types in the Mmj Movement...greed motivates them :(
I forgot to mention that the staff of Memphis Flyer should be ashamed for making this play a staff pick. They need to hire someone like me that will give an honest review. I do not believe anyone from the staff even attended the play and if so, they are tone deaf and easily entertained.
Allison Huber (Florence) was amazing in this production. Jacob Allen (Freddie) an assistant professor in the theatre department, should not be allowed to sing on stage and Lucas Hefner (Anatoly) is only good for song. Maggie Robinson (Svetlana) has an amazing voice and Zachary El-Oqlah (Molokov) played his part well. The support roles were effectively played and the cast should be proud of their work. The production crew, excluding sound manager, also a great job.
However, by the end of the play I was furious at having been held captive for over three hours. Anytime the company sang (or Jacob) I wanted to rip my ears off my head. I'm not sure who decided it was a good idea to do a three hour production in the main stage theatre (with no concessions) but they should rethink their career. The students that performed were amazing but they fall victim to poor script choice and bad sound managing throughout the play.
My advice: If you plan to attend this play, I strongly recommend pretending the intermission is the end and leave at that point.
Kicked some funky ass. Banda Magda was smooth too. Good sounds.
Intriguing and whimsical. An entertaining afternoon.
This is such a fun event for a great cause!
