Re: “Rock-n-Roll Cafe

We visited the Tim Rowland show on Satuday, March 3, 2012. This was our first show and first time seeing Mr. Rowland. I have to say without comparing Mr. Rowland to anyone else he put on a really good show. I just wish he would have dressed for the show. His singing was great and he made my Mom feel really really special and to me that is worth more than anything! During one of his songs he actually came down off stage and went over to her and put a lei around her neck. On another song, he gave her a teddy bear. The most emotional, tear jerking, priceless thing Mr. Rowland did for my Mom was to sing, "My Way" directly to her! My Way is my Mom's favorite Elvis song ever. That brought tears to my Mom's eyes when he did this. I can't Thank Tim Rowland enough for making my Mom's night. You see my Mom has terminal cancer and visiting Graceland was the one and only wish she wanted to do. Staying for the Tim Rowland show and what he did for her just put the trip over the top for my Mom. That alone is worth gold! Thank you Tom Rowland for making my Mom's trip just that much more special!

Re: “Pokey LaFarge and The South City Three with The Dirt Daubers

Saw Pokey in Oxford last fall. He knows how to entertain people which some acts never get the hang of.

Re: “The Black Diamond Experience

Saw him perform after a Redbirds game one time. Great show. May not look like Neil Diamond, but he sure sounds like him.

Re: “Elmo & The Shades

I love this band. I have visited Beale Street many times over the years and Elmo and the Shades is by far the most entertaining band I have ever seen there or maybe anywhere. I have visited Beale St. with friends, leave Rum Boogie to check out other music and we always find our way back to Rum Boogie to soak in this group. I have been dissappointed my last couple of trips not to find them on the street. If you get the chance to hear them by all means do so!!!

Re: “Rock-n-Roll Cafe

My friend and I go to Memphis at least 3 times a year. We absolutely love Joe and his family! His shows are awsome. How can any of you write the negative things you wrote on here about Joe? What about the horrible things you have done in your life? Let's air your dirty laundry!!! Joe is an awsome entertainer. We always see his shows when we are there. I suggest to anyone going to Graceland, see the Joe Kent Show. You will be glad you did. We are going again in January. Can't wait to see ya, Joe. Keep up the good work. As long as you perform, we will always come and see you! TBC.....WE LOVE YOU!

Tawnee stole all the fundraiser money from the Wing's Cancer Foundation and that summer later did the same thing to Painted Planet and took it a step further and tried to destroy the business and the personal relationships within that network. The press was contacted to reveal who Tawnee Cowan and that's when apparently Tawnee fled to Florida to do the same thing, lying about her illness and destroying people's lives and reputation.

Re: “"Horn Island 27"

The Opening is Saturday September 10th, 6 p.m. Memphis College of Art, Overton Park, Memphis, TN
The show is displayed beautifully. The works of art are a reminder that life and art go on after disaster to create the beauty of nature and the coming together of kindred spirits. Each year students keep a tale all journal and take a journey into life with nature that will never be forgotten. The love of the Island shows through in the watercolors, photos, spirit boxes, birds etc. This show has something to share with those who find works of nature and earth inspiring. The show and how it came about is unique and each year brings new talent. Don't miss this chance to meet the artist and share in the Horn Island beauty and mystery.
