A true neighborhood pub! Great beer selection and the beertenders are nice to look at! Great atmosphere and pricing. Cash only!!
I MUST SAY THAT THIS PLACE ROCKS...1ST ANNUAL LADIES NIGHT W/FAMILY ..SO WE DECIDED TO DO KAROAKE ...SO ANYWAYS WENT TO THE WIND JAMMER AND BABY WE HAD A BLAST....THE BURKS FAMILY...MUST DO IT AGAIN SOON..........LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN
The food is bar fare but it's a bar so what do you want? Actually, the food is much better than other similar places.
The beer selection is what draws me. It really gives Flying Saucer a run for its money. That alone would rate it 4-5 stars.
Factor is the food and it rates 3.5 but I'll round up in this case.
Food is OK but nothing really knocks me out.
The deck is fun and great for people watching.
The beer... oh the beer! It's a brewpub and they should be hitting this one out of the park. Sadly, I just don't love it. I drink lot's of craft brews and I homebrew so I like to think I have a palette. That said, Bosco's simply doesn't win me over.
I'd give 2.5 stars if I could but I'll just round up.
It's just a typical sports bar with typical bar food. All the gushers are a little suspect. For the same area of town, Bayou is much better. MUCH better food, better location, and easy for walking to and from other places. There is also the Blue Monkey, the Irish pub across the street (Dublin House?), Local Gastro Pub, and Louie's will be opening in Overton Square, so you will have five great places to watch sports with good food and within a block of each other....and about 10 other places for dinner, movies, sports, theatre, etc. All and all, Broadway is a one stop destination, unless it's for some one day festival or outdoor art show....and again, OS will be locking that down soon too. Best of luck, but this place is far from the over the top reviews here. I pity the tourists who read this paper to get ideas from the locals.
Average at best.
Please still be open... Have a vivid memory of this place. Visited once in maybe 2002- I've been there in my dreams and want to return in person. Will be in Memphis in November and will drive around in an attempt to find it. A drunk man at Hernando's predicted that I would marry the man I was with in 2002 and he is, in fact, now my husband. Unfortunately, I still can't dance.
This is a really fun place. I don't sing karaoke, but it is entertaining to watch, listen and dance. Some ppl are REALLY good, some REALLY bad, but they get up end do it and it's entertaining! Very good servers. People come in from all over. Excellent system for singing. Best time to get there is about 9pm!
Drink prices are about average.
Love this place! The Bacon-wrapped shrimp is GREAT! The staff is wonderful. Mike the bartender rocks and Jaqi Lloyd the waitress is really good at keeping my drinks filled.
Fun, really good entertainment! Chicken Nachos are the bomb!
Excellent entertainment! Overall a great place to eat, listen to the band and have a few drinks.
Love these cheese balls! Drinks are great too!
just ate here today and was highly disappointed. The red beans and rice was nothing more than chilli and rice, it is not a creole recipe at all...my friends over-priced cheeseburger came out burnt to a crisp and for $10.95 for a burger you expect more...the service was horrendous.....i do not recomend this resturant to anyone wanting to dine on beale street!
great after-hours bar. great bartender and the best food! try the chicken fingers tossed in hot wing sauce...
Awesome! Really great place to eat and hang out! The atmosphere is pleasant. Decent prices too! Carrie Vance is a wonderful waitress and on top of everything, especially for our big party of people.
Great Eatery! Very nice area to eat inside or outside. They have an awesome patio too. Chicken Nachos are Excellent.
Rudness by the entire staff is totally unacceptable
The Red Snapper Monterrey is wonderful and on Wednesday night there is the smooth but edgy jazz and standards from the 40s, 50s and 60s (and contemporary) with Gary Johns (vocals), Tony Thomas (piano genius) in the illustriously talented quintet.
Southern Roots kind of place with eye candy bartenders... Its a REAL Memphis Thang!!!!
