I'm not a fan of modern art, but the gardens are awesome.
I love going to the AMUM to visit with the Egyptian collection there. When I was a student at the U of M, I would go visit to relax and take a break.
Always a fantastic venue! Lots of laid back fun!
Miss this place!!!
Java Cabana, Cooper-Young's Coffeehouse, has the longest running Open Mic Nite in the city, going on 21 years. Open Mic Nite is every Thursday from 8-10pm. You can bring your songs, your poems, your stories. All they ask is to share original works.
I can't wait to see the exhibit that will be paid for by the demolition of the 19th Century Club, which is on the historic register. $400,000+ should buy a pretty nice display. A kid's-size mock-up of a "Historic Home in Memphis" would be educational.
Gasoline is one of the newest art galleries to open on Broad Avenue in Memphis, TN. It is hosting the production of Jason Miller's Gaisman Mural commissioned by the City of Memphis. Additionally, Gasoline is also hosting the 16 part exhibition series curated by Miller. More on the series here: https://www.facebook.com/circuitoussuccession
Best trivia in the city! Every Tuesday night at 8.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, I went to these guys to have my fathers military flag put in a shadow box frame and I couldn't be more pleased.
Since then I've taken several things in to get framed....I completely trust them and HIGHLY recommend them!
Do you offer any appraisals? I have a Hepplewhite powder table in black and gold Chinese lacquer peach interior from English design of period 1785. Your name was suggested. Thank you Chris 901-270-0732 or e mail email@example.com

im hittn it upppp!!!
Great food, service and atmosphere! Good prices.
Went there on my birthday. Food was good. Try those pizza's they are wonderful.
Good atmosphere and service.
Fun concept and good food. It is also one of my favorites down town. The food is good and not too pricey. The brunch is nice on the weekends. Ordering off the menu instead of some overwhelming buffet, meets my needs perfectly.
One of my favorite places to eat downtown. The food is great, the service is quick and super polite, and the atmosphere is very nice. My first impression when I walked in was that this was going to be an expensive night. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for the excellent quality and amount of food.
It was all right. Service was a bit slow, which normally I don't mind as I much prefer to be left alone as opposed to being harassed, we were all but forgotten by our waiter and it wasn't busy.
The food was average, not great/not bad, just average. Maybe it was an off night, but it will be a while before I return. I'd give it a solid 2.5 stars since it is solidly in the middle of the road.
The place went down FAST when Wanda Wilson left. Without Wanda, the place is pretty poopie. Sorry
