My favorite breakfast in town. It's like going to your grandmother's house on the weekend. Food is home style, which means they cook it like you would at home. Not fancy, but friendly. A comfortable place to get a respite from haute cuisine and corporate flash.
Service and food was excellent!!!!
Great venue, very laid back and welcoming. My new favorite hangout. The Reggae on Sundays is awesome and the Wednesday night techno scene is amazing. I wasn't crazy about the Thursday open mic set but its a good place to disappear and be a part of something all at once. Great cheap food too!
This salon is a joke! I came in via groupon and I had Lisa the owner and my hair is awful they are very nice but the work is bad...
Use to get a nice roasted prime rib at Houston's . Today I got a charred, grilled PRIME RIB(?) slathered in a uckie sweet glaze. Could have gotten the same, at a lot better price, at many area restaurants. Will not be going back to Houston's' the service and other dishes were good. Just very unhappy about the so called prime rib.
Excellant food! I had the Salmon with Black Thai rice, one of the best salmon dishes I've eaten. Service was outstanding as well.
Excellent lunch today. Had a veggie wrap that was surprisingly warm and very good.
Onyx is okay. The food was good and the drinks were good but the service is a bit lacking. A few times I needed to step outside to answer phone calls for business but each time I stepped out the server assumed I was walking out on my tab. Maybe they are used to people walking out, or maybe African Americans but I was really offended by this and will not ever be back. Maybe it is just me but I have never had anyone assume I walked out on a tab; I even let her know I was stepping out and in five minutes she came looking for me. Will not be back. EVER.
Always a fantastic venue! Lots of laid back fun!
Miss this place!!!
Old Memphis. Get ready to talk history and politics.
THE BEST COOKIES in Memphis!! You have to try these amazing cookies for your next event. Laurie and Collins do such an amazing job and make the prettiest cookies in town. Collins is the daughter of Leigh Anne Tuohy - inspiration from "The Blind Side" movie. Go check out their adorable new shop on Poplar Ave.
Red neck biker bar without the bikes.!
best karaoke in town! Get Michael the DJ to do a song or a duet!
Well worth the drive to Collierville! The wood fired wings are a must if you go. Try the sweet chili sauce on them too, great complement between spicy and sweet. 5 stars!
Had one of the best Easters listening to the music of Jerry Lee, Elvis, and Johnny Cash while eating a delicious pulled pork sandwich. Will always come back when in Memphis!!!
Bari has the best Italian food I gave ever had from a restaurant. The prices are very good considering the excellent quality of the food. The first time I had Bari's food was when I friend brought it over to my house. The next day when I was craving it again I went to check the prices online. I was thinking it was gonna be super expensive because the food was so good. However, when I saw the prices I was like "wow" their prices are really good. Bari could easily sell there food for more. Thanks Bari for keeping it reasonable and consistently delicious!!!
The Volunteers in the Preservation of the Raleigh Cemetery would like to invite you to attend the 2nd "Walk-Thru" Tour of it's residences. Mr. Dale Schaefer will conduct the "Elmwood Cemetery like tour" of the grounds. There are Shelby's buried here, believed to be relatives of Isaac Shelby, who our county was named for. The second mayor of Memphis, Isaac Rawlings, is buried here, as are yellow fever victims and probable former slaves. Other prominent names on headstones include Coleman, Laughlin,Bolton, Elmore, King, Burrow, Beal, and Taylor. Wilson Sanderlin, who once owned much of the land that became Raleigh, is buried here.

Another reminder to mark your calendars for the Spring Old Raleigh Cemetery "Walk-Thru" to be held Saturday afternoon, April 5 at 1:30 at the ORC. If you've never been out here, or would like to see the REMARKABLE changes that have taken place since last year, come on out. It's still a diamond in the rough, so walking can be difficult. Wear long pants and sturdy walking shoes. Hope to see you there. NOTE: Rain will postpone the event until the following Saturday.
I absolutely loved this place. Great service and amazing food........SPECTACULAR!!!
