If you like to laugh, this is the place to be.
We went there for the first time today for my husband's birthday at 2.30, which is considered dinnertime.
Food: I was really looking forward to the filet mignon and pork loins. However, they only came around with flank steak (excellent; our favorite), sirloin, bacon-wrapped chicken (didn't care of it, honestly; all you could taste was bacon) and sausage (good, not salty at all). Very disappointed at that but didn't want to ask waiter. I would think for lack of 3-4 meats it wouldn't be the same cost as dinnertime; rather should be lunch price. That's the only reason I gave it a 4. Cheese bread was INCREDIBLE! Stuffed w/parmesan cheese. I think I ate all but 3. To DIE for!
Waiter: Freaking AWESOME! Very accomodating and pleasant.
Salad Bar: Def not worth going just for the salad. The foods were more like appetizers, but great nonetheless. Mozzarella balls, olives, lettuce/tomatoes, roasted pineapple, to name just a few.
We will def go again!!
Great place, dance, socialize, patio, pool tourneys, bands and karaoke!
Great little Bar. I'll be there tonight with my band jamming from 9 until.
I rate this pizza joint with 4 stars purely on their ingredients available. If someone felt their pizza had no flavor, it was likely of their own doing. This is THE only restaurant at ALL that I have yet to find marinated WHITE anchovies that taste *almost* as good as the ones I ate entire flats of with my fingers in the south of France. The crusts are fantastically crunchy from the blast of the wood fire, and you can go with one of their pre-set selections or create your own from their "bar" of ingredients.
Taco pizzas are typically the epitome of "made for kids, who thought this was a good idea if NOT?!" pizzas to me as well. It took my much younger coworker (who ironically DOES look like a child -- according to many people who see/meet her for the first time in the office and generally ask someone nearby if someone brought their daughter to work -- although she's nearly 25-years-old) ordering it on one of our lunch outings to prod my constant food curiosity. I tried it. I was shocked that it was actually pretty good. The ground beef was seasoned well, and the vegetables and sour cream added post-firing, so no wilted tomatoes or lettuce or weirdly semi-curdled sour cream.
They also (I assume it is a regular menu item at this point) have a "smores" dessert "pizza" that for someone with virtually no sweet tooth like myself to proclaim that it was FAR better than ACTUAL smores on account of the dusting of cocoa powder vs. a semi-melted/semi-solid hunk of chocolate hot enough for it to not be pleasant running down your hand, and the softer "crust" with a lovely, neutral flavor which unlike a graham cracker, doesn't instantly break apart either, further facilitating the aforementioned chocolate scalding. It is also not "Southern" sized, meaning that it is the perfect size for 2 people to halve one, or 2, small "slices" (as long as you boxed your leftover real pizzas).
Great food and quick service, for a very reasonable deal. Great if you live or work Downtown for a fun, healthy alternative!
You get a fifth star, when you have vegan cup cakes, please.
My food was excellent. Ribs just fell off the bones. Took a little time, but the music was so good and the food so good, you did not mind. The waiter we had was very personable and courteous. Have eaten there before and will ent anytime I have the opportunity. Sorry for those who had problems. I would recommend people try for themselves, different strokes for different folkes. Great place to sit and have drinks. I love the calamari appetizer too. Always had people come to check on me right when I sat down, so I have no idea what Bill was talking about... of course, I'm not a jerk to staff, and I do tip.
There's nothing authentic about this "Mexican" restaurant. And I haven't been since they came under new management. However they do have the best bacon wrapped shrimp I've ever had.
Homemade Italian food. Yes please.
The food is great and the wine list extensive. We had pleasant service..attention without getting in our way of a date night!!
FYI it is an over 21 bar so there is smoking.. wasn't bad enough to take away from the food!!
When we first arrived we were taken back by the greeter. She mentioned we were 5 minutes late and seemed mad. Not a very good first impression. We noticed throughout the dinner that she seemed to be a manager of some sort. There are things that come up such as child care and parking, which was our situation. Despite the first person we saw, our waiter(Ryan) was awesome! Ryan made the experience worthwhile. He always had a smile on his face and explained everything to the "T". The food was great also! I recommend lobster biscuit and pineapple upside cake!
Excellant food! I had the Salmon with Black Thai rice, one of the best salmon dishes I've eaten. Service was outstanding as well.
There food is great but they no longer offer 3 for 1 but a 2 for 1 special. I enjoy myself with the music but the food services is slow but staff is friendly and nice
I don't know what the above people were complaining about - it's a freaking bar! I'd say they had pretty decent food and bevs for being a bar. Our waitress was HOT! The service was a little slow only because they were probably understaffed on the floor. The meal/appetizers/bevs were REASONABLY priced! I would go again.
We stumbled upon this cute little restaurant tucked away in Cordova and were very happy we did! The restaurant is very cute and the staff very attentive. It was a little fancier than we thought it would be as we had our two boys with us, but the staff was very nice and treated us no different because we had two crazy little boys. The food was very good as well. I honestly cant remember what I had because I stole so much of my husbands eggs benedict that was what he said and I quote"Possibly the best eggs benedict he's every had." And trust me he's had a lot. Next time would like to go back without the boys, would be a cute date spot.
delicious food nice ppl, there was something on my plate that wasn't seasoned quite well but they gave me something to make it taste better. overall nice spot, will eat there again. not the best parking available
Delicious food great service during lunch hour, met up with classmates
Hi this is Shelia Foster. My grandma was on the mother's board before she took ill. My husband proposed to me. My mama is on the usher board. I enjoy both of my grand kids.
