This is an article that everybody in Memphis should read. I'm going to share it on my Facebook page, not just for friends in TN but all over the country. While it does specifically apply to TN, the information regarding trafficking applies to all states.

I think this is one of the best articles I have seen here.
The main problem with all of this is the 'They could face up to 15 years for such an offense' crap. These lowlifes, traffickers and child molesters, do not deserve to live much less get a 15 year sentence which means they are back on the street in probably 2 years doing it all over again. When you have a cancer you remove it completely. You do not put an ointment on it so it goes away for 2 years and then comes back. But the lawyers have got to make their money so they contrive with the courts to say that Billy Bob or Demaris or Chen Lee won't do it again and this is the first time they have been caught. Which to you and me is total bullshit but that's the way the courts roll. When they do go to jail they should be put in general population so the other prisoners can take care of business. See no one likes a child molester or sex trafficker. I am barbaric but as the saying goes 'kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out'.

Please be advised not to use this service. The owners are very unproffessional and do not respond to complaints. On numerous occassions our chicks were late or did not stay the entire time. Therefore, we were cheated out of a substantial amount of money. Also, they did not do a good job and on numerous occassions broke expensive items - which the owners of the company refused to either replace or provide monetary compensation. This company used to be a wonderful service; but, several years ago it was sold by the original owner to some very unscrupulous individuals. I purchased a gift certificate for cleaning in the amount of several hundred dollars and they claimed it was never purchased and then charged me for the cleanings that should have been covered. When I protested (hours of phone calls, collection of canceled checks showing payment etc.) - the owner yelled and threatened me and my family and my animals. Horrible people. I have never had such an unpleasant and stressful experience.

Why is it there's nobody but white people down there doing this stuff. I don't condone gayness at all but I refuse to picket them or act an ass about it like those folks down there. Some people just don't have nothing better to do then stirring up trouble ...

Erica, I never claimed to speak for ALL of America. But the facts of the matter speak for themselves. There was hardly ever a mention of these kooks in the media while they were torturing grieving mothers at the funerals of their gay sons for decades. And congrats on being from Minnesota. I've been there many times. If you go just a few miles outside of Minneapolis-St.Paul, it's as redneck as Tipton County.

Chris in Midtown - please don't speak for all of America when you say that this country agrees with the kooks in the WBC on gay people. Clearly not everyone hates gay people as one can tell by my own state of Minnesota having just made marriage equality possible the LGBT community.

What gripes me most is that these kooks picketed the funerals of AIDS victims for many years and the mainstream media pretty much ignored them.
It wasn't until relatively recently when they started protesting at military funerals that they started getting major publicity. In other words, America as a whole pretty much agrees with their views on gay people. "Just don't mess with our precious military or we will get quite upset".
Sad but undeniably true.

Well we finally know where the nut jobs go for their weekend hate weekends. Now this is where the government should make sure these "people" don't have handgun carry permits or possession of guns since they are truly mentally unstable.

The animal abuse at MAS continues for just one reason - because our mayor doesn't care!!! None of this is news to him.
Concerned citizens and taxpayers - PLEASE join this peaceful protest so the mayor will know that Memphians will not tolerate this abuse any longer

Is that Fred Phelps' daughter Shirley behind the sunglasses and above the caption saying she never stopped singing? Her picture is all over the internet; she is on TV; and she's been before the Supreme Court. I don't think she really believes all that stuff. It is a means to an end. It must be exhausting to make yourself infamous.

Why does it seem so hard for the MAS to find conscientious and caring employees, including veterinarians???
I still find it hard to believe there wasn't a complete housecleaning of the operation after the Sheriff's raid. EVERYONE should have been made to re-apply for their positions after that mess was revealed.
You ask ..."why EVERYONE"?
That's an easy one, ... because even if employees weren't abusing or neglecting the animals, they were certainly witnessing yhe actions and did absolutely nothing about it.
Makes me sick when I think about that miscreant, Elliot, who was strangling dogs to death by hanging them over a sink by a leash around their necks. I look at my little 14 y/o Pug and am sickened by the thought of what could have happened to this loving, loyal little creature if by happenstance he'd ended up at MAS.
What these miscreants did had nothing to do with economic disparities, lack of education, sex, or jealousy ... it was pure evil and meanness which motivated them to take those actions.
They, and many still working at MAS are the scum of the earth.
