My GODdaughter Rocks Life!
I had a chance to meet mr. Hamilton on the trolley in Memphis Tennessee this past weekend. The interesting young man asked if he could can do a sketch of me and I said sure why not. In about 5 to 10 minutes he drew a sketch that actually look like me. So I decided to look him up on the internet and I was amazed to find how talented he really was. He was a joy to talk with and I love the sketch that he drew of me. D. Roberts 7/16
rEvolve has been a pleasure to deal with the past two years. Geoff has repaired and setup at least six guitars for me and always done an outstanding job. I trust him for his advice and respect him for his honesty. His prices are extremely reasonable and the work is top-notch. I have also bought numerous items from him and the prices are competitive with anyone. What I enjoy the most is the neighborhood "feel" of his shop. It's fun just to look around while someone is playing a possible future buy in the background. Geoff and Zack run a great music store with plenty of selection, knowledge and honesty.
it's the guy in the grim reaper mask you need to worry about. memphisspirit.com
I remember Mongo since I was a kid nearly 50 past. If he was going to go off he would have done it a longtime ago. Relax.
I know this thread is old as hell but I just caught this episode of American Pickers, which resulted in a rather extensive search and reading session on this Prince Mongo guy to the point I missed the rest of the episode being so engrossed in the guy and what articles and info I found about him.
To be honest the guy is nothing short of frightening. And I'm not Mr Tough-Guy or anything but I'm no 6'3, 200lb chicken shit either.
The frightening thing about him is that he has quite clearly and obviously completely lost any sort of remote grasp on reality. Whether the "character" he portrays is his honest persona or not, (frankly it's almost a bit more frightening if he KNOWS it's all an act) the dude is legitimately off the reservation. This is the type of psyche that ends up burning down city blocks or poisoning the water supply and shit like that, whether it's in an effort to stop the spawning of whatever demon or alien creatures he is certain are trying to infiltrate the community, or because he's certain the community is out to get him, or merely that his "eccentric" act isn't getting him the level of attention that he requires anymore and decides to take things to another level.
How this guy isn't locked up in a padded party room already is beyond me, let alone the fact he is allowed to run for office every election. Everyone is so concerned with catching sleeper cells of terrorists hiding out in towns, (which is a legit concern, don't gt me wrong) yet this nutcase is free as a bird...
A trip to Memphis isn't complete without a stop at Celery.

The summer of 2014 and my sanity were saved by your alternative format at the time. By November it was some hip-hop music. Stay with the alternative music. And get a playlist going.
My 6 yr old is a hard core Elvis fan! She loves his music via Sirius RADIO, has Elvis decor in her bedroom, had an Elvis themed birthday party, named our dog Elvis and more. We are bringing her to see Graceland April 1 and 2nd, would love to get her on the show! Any chance?
Willy is a fascinating combination of talents -- filmmaker, photographer, historian, author, musician & singer, and all around good guy and treasure for Memphis.
