Thought of Jerry tonight and looked this up again to see if the pos that did this was ever caught. I can't seem to find anything about an arrest. I hope they find whoever did this.
damn fine sign-off...thanks for covering all the great tunes!
I've thoroughly enjoyed your writing and will continue to enjoy your music. Good luck out there.
Good luck, and thanks for your observations and recommendations, Chris.
I loved my uncle Fred his brother Pastor James P. Sanders although some just know him as JP took me to meet his brother and family in Memphis when I was little in the 70's I loved all who I meet as a child we did not make it to Memphis all the time but he was love by all of the Sanders children his which are his nephews and nieces. He and my Dad could play the guitar well and now my brother Tim plays also who tried to follow the music of George Benson for years. Fred has been and inspiration to musicians and will be missed by all of his family I am a proud one. R.I.P Bathsheba Gibborim (a.k.a Yvette W. Sanders) Mob Museum Volunteer Las Vegas NV
We were at River Records just in July. When my husband and i started dating back in 1998 he took me to see Jerry Gibson and River Records. Well, needless to say we made it a event about twice a year. Truly a wonderful person and We loved Jerry. Got a picture with all visits. He will be missed. He had hoped to move to Ark. and retire. I ask Jerry was he scared here and of course Jerry said No. And a lot i cant repeat. LOL... Rest in Vinyl Heaven.
