October Market has new features such as early bird shopping, book signings by local authors, workshops, and feature demonstrations in addition to one of kind shopping! If you love antiques, vintage, or handmade, this is market is a must.
Upscale Barn Antiques - vintage- hand made things for sale! twice a year.
Great little restaurant. Quick service. Go early or late for lunch because they have a waiting list every day. First of their two locations. Great smoked meats, baby back ribs are the best! Don't miss the twice baked potato salad and banana pudding! Awesome smoked turkey and Polish Kielbasa!
Absolutely great BBQ! The smoked baby back ribs are their specialty but you do not want to miss the twice baked potato salad and banana pudding. I believe they are the best new BBQ in Memphis!
Great Church to attend! Powerful sermons with substance!
This workshop is no longer available.
I ate here with 3 others on Monday. We all thought the food was terrific. I will be back. I recommend it to others. Try the Cuban appetizer plate; its tastes very good.
People talk excessively inside the theatre and use their cell phones. Isles weren't clean and the seats were uncomfortable. Do not plan to attend this theatre again.
Great breakfast with great atmosphere! Very unique and delicious menu. Great service too! Love the biscuit beniets and healthy menu options as well.
I rate this pizza joint with 4 stars purely on their ingredients available. If someone felt their pizza had no flavor, it was likely of their own doing. This is THE only restaurant at ALL that I have yet to find marinated WHITE anchovies that taste *almost* as good as the ones I ate entire flats of with my fingers in the south of France. The crusts are fantastically crunchy from the blast of the wood fire, and you can go with one of their pre-set selections or create your own from their "bar" of ingredients.
Taco pizzas are typically the epitome of "made for kids, who thought this was a good idea if NOT?!" pizzas to me as well. It took my much younger coworker (who ironically DOES look like a child -- according to many people who see/meet her for the first time in the office and generally ask someone nearby if someone brought their daughter to work -- although she's nearly 25-years-old) ordering it on one of our lunch outings to prod my constant food curiosity. I tried it. I was shocked that it was actually pretty good. The ground beef was seasoned well, and the vegetables and sour cream added post-firing, so no wilted tomatoes or lettuce or weirdly semi-curdled sour cream.
They also (I assume it is a regular menu item at this point) have a "smores" dessert "pizza" that for someone with virtually no sweet tooth like myself to proclaim that it was FAR better than ACTUAL smores on account of the dusting of cocoa powder vs. a semi-melted/semi-solid hunk of chocolate hot enough for it to not be pleasant running down your hand, and the softer "crust" with a lovely, neutral flavor which unlike a graham cracker, doesn't instantly break apart either, further facilitating the aforementioned chocolate scalding. It is also not "Southern" sized, meaning that it is the perfect size for 2 people to halve one, or 2, small "slices" (as long as you boxed your leftover real pizzas).
Check out the band MORRILL SMITH may 23rd featuring former member from hawk, BULLETBOYS, Black oak Arkansas and ambrose.. this band rocks it
Contrary to popular belief, they do not, in fact, still sell vacuum cleaners... at least I don't think they do.
Great food and quick service, for a very reasonable deal. Great if you live or work Downtown for a fun, healthy alternative!
Great place to party!
This clubhouse is super nice inside! I held my son's birthday here last year, and everyone had a great time. There is plenty of room, and they also have a pool & tennis court!
Great beer selection! Live music is awesome. They take cards now.
Menu is pretty good. Food is pretty good. Servers are sacharine-sweet feaux-friendly annoying as is the loudness in the place.
My favorite after-hours joint.
Food is interesting and tastes good. But service is not good. If you're over 40, prepare to be overlooked and treated like sub-standard citizen-customer. It's too bad too because the menu looks interesting.
Love the Memphis Black Expo!
