Yikes! Devon has a white 1961 Gibson SG guitar exactly like mine. Wow! What a great guitar - it plays like "buttah..."
For the record, the band in AIRHEADS was called The Lone Rangers, which is a joke because you can't pluralize 'lone ranger.'
Have tickets, 4 of us, but followed the weather advisory to stay home off the roads...long way from Hot Springs, AR...hope we get a chance to see him again...love love love Jesse...
Wish I could be there! Loved Jesse right from the start...
In retrospect, pretty damn classy.
Bad music brings out bad musical fans. What do you expect?
Two ESSENTIAL Johnny Winter discs: Johnny Winter And + Johnny Winter And - Live.
Wow... I will BE there, Brother John!
Paul Rodgers - one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time, even though not nearly well-known enough in the States. He even toured as vocalist with none other than Queen (!) quite recently. He is featured on so many "tribute" albums that he might as well claim some of the original tunes as his own. Of course, he has also been slagged for having quite the Grand Ego that was likely responsible for Free's untimely demise... Still, too bad he didn't perform this latest stuff locally. Pro'ly knew that no one would show up around here...
I appreciate Judge Mathis and what he is doing. I was wondering Judge Mathis if you would consider assisting the Richmond Police Dept in Calif or sending them so information about solving cold cases? My brother was murdered in 2001 and as of today nothing has been done, I am not saying they are not doing anything .......just not sure of what they are doing.....just saying and not only that my nephew was murdered and ...sometime I just want to hear something has been resolved..
what a dream....
That Allmusic.com article is so misinformed...
The Audio/Visual CD NEVER blew ANY speakers.
It was Mac based and in 1994 Windows took over the market.
The CD was originally supposed to have the picture of a 45 record on it (yes, even before Pearl Jam did it), but Ardent didn't like the idea & put their huge logo on the CD instead. There was "sound effects" added at the beginning and end of the CD of a phonograph needle on a record. THAT was the buzzing/popping sound they THOUGHT was "blowing speakers" thanks to the (stupid) warning label on the front of the Audio/Visual CD.

That was my fourth concert with JT. Some men just get better with age. Jt is blessed with that gift. It was a nice girls night out.
Just saw this write up about the event. All the videos from the album in order can be found at:
If you or your friends are having trouble writing press releases, you can contact the Memphis Music Resource Center. They are glad to help with the basics.
PS - Your music might be terrible. But that's not my job.
@stilljustasbad, yeah, let's see, I just scrolled back through local video postings/show plugs in the LAST WEEK. They include BoKeys, Superwitch, Cello Fury, Small Black, Dream Team, Grid, Hunter's Paradise, Loser Vision, No Bunny, Moving Finger, Buldgers, Toxie, Trampoline Team, Nights Like These, Crawldown, and Holy Gallows.
Sorry we missed your band, you clueless douche.
Great job not posting any videos from other Memphis bands that had events in the last month. Great job Flyer, great jon. Typical...
That makes me very very happy. Thanks, super sleuth!
Follow up: Obviously the 2nd sign at Alabama IS Dana.
That's not Dana, it's this girl http://www.ryot.org/ole-miss-coed-destroys-166-years-university-marketing-one-video/426669. I saw the sign at the LSU/Ole Miss game.
Judge Mathis does seem to be more concerned with justice, than another "local celebrity judge", who seems to be consumed with other things. Just sayin'.
I understand the need and usefulness of "CrimeStoppers" but until our communities understand their "duty" to the community without remuneration, crime will be a difficult nut to crack.
