Re: “Operation Band-Aid

BTW - not having health insurance is against the law. Specifically, it violates the law known as "Obamacare".

Re: “Operation Band-Aid

So was this a robbery, a bad drug deal, an argument with someone he knew, or ?

My co-workers friend moved from the 'burbs to just down the street from where Shaw was shot. She was assaulted by a guy with 3 outstanding arrest warrants who had seen her in the area and decided she was "going to be his ho". After getting out of the hospital, she moved back to the 'burbs.

No crime problem around here?

Re: “Operation Band-Aid

Touring the world doesn't necessarily mean you are making a ton of money in the music business.

Re: “Future Says He Will '1000% Not Be' at 'Fake' Southaven Show

He was not there and since I don't use Twitter I didn't know until tonight, when he didn't show up.

Ticketmaster dropped the ball, as they indeed indicated he was coming and they didn't send even one email or notification correcting that. They should have fixed it and then sued Future's team if they were mislead.

Just FYI the show is on Friday, November 11, 2016 not Wednesday, November 16 as reflected in your article.

Re: “Country Outsider at 60

The City of Nashville is about as country as a traffic jam.

Re: “Country Outsider at 60

Obviously Nashville doesn't understand good country & western music or its fans.
Dwight is the best of this genre and he and his fans have proved it time and again. Sorry Nashville but you completely missed the mark on this.

Re: “Rest in Peace Clay Hardee

Man, I loved talking Grizzlies with you, Clay. Was always excited to see you walk in the P&H or for me to walk in and find you there ready to watch the game. I'm really gonna miss that.

So very glad to have known you. Enjoy the universe.

Re: “Rest in Peace Clay Hardee

I cannot express the deep sadness I feel for Clay's family. My son. Ethan, was a close friend, and he had visited Clay days before his death, with plans to see him again soon. I say goodbye to Clay and my father, James Russell Guthrie, who died the same day. "April is the cruelest month..." according to T.S. Eliot. But I've lost my son, Logan Guthrie Smith, only 16, and my father, and now a young man with so much to give, in October. October is the cruelest month. Goodbye, Clay.

Re: “Rest in Peace Sports Junction

Fell in love with a little underground joint in Rome that specialized in Middle Eastern dishes and amazing herbal fruity teas and infusions. Every meal ended with a hookah full, and there was a long choice of tobaccos including one that was faintly rose-scented and brilliant. It created a false sense for the whole idea of "hookah bar." Tried several more with high, always dashed hopes. Nasty, nasty, pure nasty.

Re: “Rest in Peace Sports Junction

Well, 40 something years ago, when I met my first hookah, I noticed how sickly and phlegmic (and yet phlegmatic) the people attached to it looked. I then resolved to master rolling my own.
