I am simply stunned that the manager doesn't take contracts seriously. It takes a lot of planning to plan any type of event and to be thrown to the sign because she isn't famous as other is beyond unprofessional. I would definitely be careful when using this place... I would hate for all of your planning to go to waste.
They didn't honor a contract for a baby shower and gave the hostess only days notice that someone they thought was more important would be using the facility that day. How did he expect her to find a new facility and notify all the guests in just a few days. Then to suggest that she use the place across the street was a slap in the face. The signed contract didn't mean anything to the owner. I surely would have sued him!!!
Manager of this place believes that when he enters into a contract with someone that contract becomes null and void if something he feels is more important comes up. He completely disregarded a client who planned to have a baby shower at his establishment for a booksigning that was 4 hours after her scheduled event so that they could "set up" for the booksigning. He then proceeded to rectify the situation by sending her to another venue across the street. I would never use the establishment. Let's teach this manager that all customers are important and should be treated equally!
What the manager of this place did to a client trying to have a baby shower at this establishment was dead wrong. He then proceeded to tell her a flat out lie.People please be careful of this establishment,if im ever in Memphis I will not be stopping by the 300 S Main Street Gallery...
The manager of this place put it out to a potential client, with a signed contract that they overbooked and said that it was The Neely's and lied to try to make the renter feel unimportant. Shame on it all. The 300 S. Main Street Gallery will never get a dime of my money. There is no reason why they could not honor their agreement with you for an event from 1-3 when the next event starts at 7:30.
Eat shoguns for good food at great prices. Eat well is expensive dog food. Let the Memphis Asian war commence!
great place and great food, EXTREMELY crowded on saturdays and people can be rude in the cluster. other than that my family loves the place.
great location, great food, great tea !
A group of us went there for lunch a little while back & none of us were disappointed. As a matter of fact, everyone is the group said we needed to come back & try something different.
It's a chain restaurant, the food is average, but plenty of it.
I'd skip $5 Wednesday's, they cut the portions in half and really skim on sauce.
Best Egg Rolls around, and very good hot and sour soup.
Nothing fancy here, but the Chinese is above average for Memphis.
Another signature Green event, showcasing the uniqueness of the Shelby Farms Park Conservancy, sharing the starlight with the stars.
This is the best Mexican in town, since El Chico closed.
I think the Orange Mound Community Service Center, is our seniors French Riviera of Memphis. There is a Dance Studio, Music Room, Music Lessons, Auditorium, Arts and Crafts, an Aquatic Pool, Poolroom of Billiards, and a full Workout Fitness Room. Dont forget the Aerobics classes Mon -Fri
My friends and I went to Evergreen Grill for dinner after hearing rave reviews. The atmosphere is casually elegant and the service was superb. I was unsure what to order as everything on the menu looked appetizing. The server suggested the Evergreen Chicken which is the house specialty. I decided to go with that suggestion and was glad I did! The chicken was juicy and succulent, grilled to perfection and topped with olives, spinach and feta cheese with a cream sauce. Delicious!! My dinner companions ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Fish Tacos, Seafood Pasta and Steak. Everyone was equally impressed with their dishes and I was able to sample from their plates and everything was tasty! For dessert, we ordered three different cheesecakes to share with the table. We tried Key Lime Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake. All the flavors were absolutely divine and portions were ample for sharing! I will definitely be returning to Evergreen Grill because there is so much more on the menu that I want to try!!!
Hard to completely mess up breakfast ... the place needs a good cleaning, it's filthy.
food is good, potions are on the small side
Excellent friendly service. Cool, small, European-feel to the restaurant. DELICIOUS food. Excellent quality dishes, and from all local products. Highly recommended.
They cater my church's Wednesday night dinner (Orthodox Christian, so we don't eat meat, fish, or dairy on Wednesday, Friday, or during a fasting period like lent) and it was very good. You won't mistake their burger for the real thing, but as veggie burgers go, it was probably the best I've had.
