I tried this again and the service was much, much better but I'm still not sure how it would be during a lunch rush. The food was still great although it's apparent they use some frozen ingredients. A little tweak to the ingredients they use and this place hits 4 stars. Knock out the service problem once and for all and it hits 5 stars.
Great food and interesting beer selection. The waiter was a little goofy and kept trying to get in on our conversations but went away when shooed. All-in-all a great place!
I ate at the one in Oakland. My first Mexican Buffet. I had 2 plates fully loaded. My tummy was still bloated 6 hours later. I give them 4 tums up. I will be back for more.
Love the bar! Chris and Rick are the bomb!
It's just a typical sports bar with typical bar food. All the gushers are a little suspect. For the same area of town, Bayou is much better. MUCH better food, better location, and easy for walking to and from other places. There is also the Blue Monkey, the Irish pub across the street (Dublin House?), Local Gastro Pub, and Louie's will be opening in Overton Square, so you will have five great places to watch sports with good food and within a block of each other....and about 10 other places for dinner, movies, sports, theatre, etc. All and all, Broadway is a one stop destination, unless it's for some one day festival or outdoor art show....and again, OS will be locking that down soon too. Best of luck, but this place is far from the over the top reviews here. I pity the tourists who read this paper to get ideas from the locals.
Average at best.
Those prices above are ridiculous. The first offer is $33 dollars for two bottles of BBQ sauce and a five ounce container of seasoning, which is basically salt, pepper and whatever. Or buy just one bottle and the seasoning for $22.99. Which means that a bottle of their BBQ sauce is 10 bucks?
There are so many kinds of BBQ sauce on the market especially in Memphis. People who pay these goofy prices live in Germantown and vote Republican and would gag to think that an African American is touching their meat.
This place is off the chain. Fresh and delicious. Just what Hernando needed.
Please still be open... Have a vivid memory of this place. Visited once in maybe 2002- I've been there in my dreams and want to return in person. Will be in Memphis in November and will drive around in an attempt to find it. A drunk man at Hernando's predicted that I would marry the man I was with in 2002 and he is, in fact, now my husband. Unfortunately, I still can't dance.
Food delicious (spicy gyro pita which was stuffed, and appetizer sampler of taboulleh, hummus, and Syrian eggplant dip) with drinks and tip all for under $20 and with extra pita to go; very clean; friendly, efficient staff; limited menu of sandwiches and salads only, but with enough pita and panini choices to keep you diversified for a long time. We will be back.
Friday night (8/24), I took my wife and mother in law to dinner to celebrate my mother in laws mother's life who passed away this week at the age of 100 in Portland Maine. Everything was delightful! From the appetizers to the main courses AND our waitress Rachel, everything was perfect. The Rosetti (sp?) I had was heavenly! Thanks for a lovely meal...we will be back!
This is a really fun place. I don't sing karaoke, but it is entertaining to watch, listen and dance. Some ppl are REALLY good, some REALLY bad, but they get up end do it and it's entertaining! Very good servers. People come in from all over. Excellent system for singing. Best time to get there is about 9pm!
Drink prices are about average.
The food is great. They have a small menu and have perfected each of the dishes and appetizers. The Salmon and Grits were unbelievable. I pray this restaurant stays open a long while. The Jamaican drinks were delicious as well.
The Center has moved less than a mile down the street to 2865 Summer Oaks Dr. Suite 100, Bartlett, TN 38134
Adorable production. The father and daughter ave great chemistry and do an excellent job! Kudos to the director for managing so many children so very well.
Love this place! The Bacon-wrapped shrimp is GREAT! The staff is wonderful. Mike the bartender rocks and Jaqi Lloyd the waitress is really good at keeping my drinks filled.
Fun, really good entertainment! Chicken Nachos are the bomb!
Excellent entertainment! Overall a great place to eat, listen to the band and have a few drinks.
