Those are WAY TOO HEAVY.
Love the look! Absolutely beautiful!
Yeah, well, beauty hurts.....
Those earrings. Sorry. They look like they're about to rip through her flesh.
July 16, today is the 15th lol
i was very happy to read your very articulate and accurate article on Shawn Lane. I was not fortunate enough to have known him in person but feel I am very close to him through his inimitable music. He is the reason I picked up the guitar again after 40 years. I heard his music one day on Pandora while listening to my Eric Johnson channel. I sat there in stunned silence at what I heard. How had I missed hearing the most amazingly talented guitarist up until now? It was really the music I had always been waiting to hear. Thank you so much for saying what I am thinking.
Thank you Paul!!!
The lane family loves you!!
The Fountainhead, even with a smoking hot Patricia Neal, top/bottom five worst of all time.
I'd like to see these two, also, but yes, "Myra" certainly needs to be on the Top Five Worst. On another note, I wonder if there's such a list for Movies That Are Allegedly Good But I Think They Suck.
Gotta check these out. I've never seen either one.
In the meantime, 1970's "Myra Breckinridge" gets my vote for worst movie ever. The cast was bizarro: Raquel Welch, Mae West, John Huston, Farrah Fawcett, Jim Backus, Tom Selleck and even Rex Reed. I'm guessing the casting director was out of his skull on mescaline.
Believe it or not!
My vote goes to "The Room", largely because James Franco likes the films director, writer, and star.
Check out the audible at 1:42: Strong.
Why no mention of "Playing for Change" at the Shell?
I met him today on beale street as my friends and i were passing through memphis. He walked up to me asking for an ankh i made of copper wire that same day and he proceeded to show us all sorts of cool things including all the techniques i use to bend wire, a dvd player with a documentary of his life, and a drawing of us he traded for a drawing one of us did in his own sketchbook. Fucking blown away
Thank you, Eli. I appreciate your participation. Let me know what I can do better or how you think you could improve what we do. firstname.lastname@example.org. Or, hell, have at it here. I've been a disgruntled reader and still am. Feedback is helpful. Thanks again.
I believe that the Goner event on Beale takes place Friday.

Oops... Friday Night Freakshow. I thought this was the link to the Stacey Campfield musical. I mean, the teaser/headline seemed logical.
I can't believe this guy is still alive! I remember him from my days growing up in Memphis in the 70's and 80's! I guess he's always been and always will be delightfully...odd. :)
Love all of Amy's work! (wonder how that IFR chart got in that tree?)
