My friend celebrated her 50th Birthday party here and it was exquisite! Elegant, fun, and the band was amazing. This was definitely an evening that I will never forget. Her theme was Diamond and Denim! Fun for all ages!
I took my two grandkids to Crepe Maker last Saturday night. There were so many choices for entrees and deserts that we had to take a few minutes to study the menu. Next time we'll make our choices before hand from the menu on their website. Each of us ordered different entree and desert crepes and all of them were delicious. Once we started eating we couldn't put them down until we had eaten every bite. The desert crepes were fantastic and the service good. The weather was nice so we sat outside in their porch area and enjoyed the view. I really look forward to going back again.
My daughters and I visited Memphis in the beginning of July and were amazed by tribute artist Tim Rowland. Not only does he have a great voice, but he has great interaction with the audience members. He is definitely a gift to Graceland and all Elvis fans! Tim is definitely a headliner. We look forward to visiting again in the future and watching him perform our favorite Elvis songs. We love you, Tim!

Hoot + Louise might be the best little shop in Memphis.
Great food that makes you feel so good. Raw, Vegan drinks, salads, sandwiches, dessert, and much more.
Best trivia in the city! Every Tuesday night at 8.
Had the opportunity to dine there, the food and prices are very very good. Easy place to just sit- in look out the large windows or may be read a book and enjoy your meal whatever you select. Definitely will go back again. Barbra

My husband and I stayed over an extra night during our visit to Graceland just to be able to catch Tim Rowland's show and we were so glad we did. He was fantastic!! I have been to several Elvis impersonator shows and Tim's is far above all of them. Even much better than the one we saw in VEGAS! I wish him and his mom (who was very sweet to talk to) the very best!! I can only say one thing to Tim. "You shouldn't smoke because it could cause you to lose that great voice and that would be a great loss."
Ticket and show info:
Saw this show in during the college tour in Alabama!! Great show. Very entertaining. Had me laughing and thinking at the same time. Must see!
I have been to 12 Bar several times since it opened. There is always a lively crowd but not the typical "loud" Beale Street scene. I always feel like I am stepping into an old speakeasy from the 20s. They have a great cocktail list with drinks you don't find at other bars in Memphis and they are always great. My personal Favorite is the Corpse Reviver. You must try the Duck Fat Fries they are AMAZING. I have also had the Memphis Soul Stew, which I have not seen anywhere else in Memphis and is really good.
This is becoming one of my favorite places to "escape" to downtown and I will definitely be back soon.
We've all heard Brazilian music, right? Bossa nova... Carmen Miranda... Samba? Yes - but the sound behind all of these is "choro," the original Brazilian music.
A catchy, melodic style with kaleidoscopic harmony and counterpoint that make it fascinating to music lovers, choro is the musical melting pot of 19th-century Rio. It is the earthy, sophisticated, humorous, daring, joyous soul of Brazil. It's a living tradition, one currently enjoying a worldwide renaissance.
Memphis has never seen authentic choro played live. We will have our chance Wednesday, July 10, when the Memphis Acoustic Music Association will present one of the finest choro groups in Brazil in a Memphis premiere performance!
Choro das 3 is a Brazilian trio formed in 2003 by 3 sisters, then aged 10-15, from the state of Sao Paulo. Despite their youth, sisters Corina, Lia and Elisa have amassed an amazing number of achievements. They have played for audiences large (over a million) and small, for President Lula da Silva, and for a major Brazilian television show akin to our Late Show with David Letterman. Choro das 3 has garnered numerous national awards in a country that takes its music VERY seriously, performed for audiences in Europe and Japan - and now, they are in the US for their first tour of North America. You don't want to miss them!
In addition to the evening concert, the group will also conduct an afternoon workshop for all acoustic instruments (advance registration required).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, I went to these guys to have my fathers military flag put in a shadow box frame and I couldn't be more pleased.
Since then I've taken several things in to get framed....I completely trust them and HIGHLY recommend them!
I'm not a Cruise fan really, but I liked this one.
Wonderful. Very well organized. I will never forget the smiles on my children's faces.
