That was an execution....
Something I've had trouble in understanding. Exactly who, in the minds of Democrats, are "working people" Are they the ones making less than $40K per year and, thus, not paying any income taxes? Are they the ones who walk, lock-step, with Democrats yet expect Republicans to kiss their ass? Are they the ones in a union and who make enough money to live in their cloistered uni-dimensional and restrictive (read that to say, "racially segregated") neighborhood? Just who are these "working people"
Yeah, but hasn't it been delivered in polite sit-down interviews with the press...conversations between fans.... 10 second sound bites by tv sportscasters and radio sport-talk announcers who definitely contradict the decades old stereotype of the good-looking yet stupid former jock by, alternately, not being remotely good-looking but are, true to the stereotype, dumb as a fence post.... slams by idiots who like to volunteer their derogatory opinion of everything negative about Memphis (both the university and the city)....and untold jillions of times in the words of supposedly humorous Yankee carptbagging sports writer whose mama obviously thought that if her son was so influenced by his name that, by the time he was old enough to yale his opinion all over the neighborhood, he would, at the very least, think that he drank his milk from a chaucer.
Someone said: "As a result, the Democratic National Committee is planning to deny seats to the delegates from these two states at the Democratic National Convention. "
What??? Democrats playing around with votes??? Oh, Man....I haven't heard anything as funny since Cheech became a Movie Star.
BTW, where is the big uproar of a political party and/or the press about the disenfranchisment of millions of voters. Hell, if they griped about a few votes in Dade County in 2000, why aren't we hearing objections about what they've done this year?
>>>Baptist is not the only company expecting/requiring this of their employees. <<<
If you want to see the worst example of this, hang out in a Taco Bell and listen to the workers being told to clock out for 20 or 30 minutes and then come back to work. The poor folks then sit in the dining room staring out the window until they are told to clock back in.
I'll bet you that my Garmin will make more right turns than that liberal Tom-Tom everyone keeps beating....
>>Fourth, question the motives and authority of those who tell you what to believe and think. <<<
Uhh...when, and how, do you folks who are ranting at....well, I didn't bother to read the person's name on the post that released all of the vitriole towards him/her...analyze, review, and question those of you who mimic the comments of one another. Exactly who died and made each of you God? How did you become possessed of such insight and intelligence so far superior to whatsisname that your views are the only true and enlightened Truth.
Ya'll are doing nothing more than exhibiting the same negative attitudes toward someone with whom you disagree that you so roundly condemn. As quoted from the gospel according to Fishn' in Chapter 3, verses 4 thru 6: "(4)Let those who disagree with me, keep thine own counsel, and (5) refrain from mirroring the behavior so vehemently criticized. (6)Liberal, thy name is hypocrite."
