I would love to learn to fly fish and finally think that I have freed up the time to do it. Any suggestions for a newbie wanting to get started in Memphis?
Thanks, Mr. Kramer for telling it like it is. Noboby in the city wants money wasted but "asinine," is how I would describe this proposal as well. As a former Firefighter I can attest to the number of times we started on a call and were diverted to another. How much time would be wasted if we had to go back to the station and re-load our gear and head out again? My suggestion for Mr. Putt is to " get him out of there." If your going to be in management and can't take constructive criticism, what kind of leader are you? And if "asinine," is offensive to him I truly question if he has ever spent much time amongst the rank and file that he supposedly leads. There are a multidle of ways for MFD to save money but ARV's, in my opinion, are not one of them.
Mr. Lit just earned my vote with his selflessness, brutal honesty, and candor. Both things we are badly missing in our leaders.
