Re: “Tourist or Terrorist?

My name is Matthew Kane. I live in Mount Vernon IL, and was forwarded this link from a friend that knows how much I'm into politics. As an Iraq War Veteran, US Marine Corps Sgt, I am outraged at the extensive persute the law has taken to fight "Terrorism" and not "Communism," like in Vietnam and the Cold War, which now have all our industrial jobs. I have traffic tickets and if you consider me a terrist than you may want to investigate me. I took an oath to UPHOLD and DEFEND the laws and rights of the US Constitution, not investigate and take away the rights of law abiding citizens. I am angry with the policies that the Bush Administration has put into place. One by one our Civil Rights are being taken away, or handed over, by a tyrannical syle system in the name of security, that makes all citizens terrists by whatever actions they do in their everyday life. The only thing I agree with is that this country should have law and order, but it should be dealt with at the state level, not the Feds. Why did I go to Iraq to fight for democracy for them (gave up MY civil rights and liberties), when the system doesn't work for our own country. If this sounds like I'm ranting; I AM. I cannot believe the hypocrisy this government, and nation, is becoming, and am ever more bitter toward the American citizens for putting up with it. I have your solution for Homeland Security: It's called the Second Amendment - the Right to Bare Arms. It kept the Japanese from a land invasion in WWII, and it still works. If you don't like what I have to say, FUCK off, freedom of speech, I EARNED mine. Sincerely, M. J. Kane
