A minority winning in a district, state or country, which has a White majority is different than a White person winning in a jurisdiction where, lets say, blacks are the majority. This is not 1970s South Africa, where only Whites are smart and capable enough to serve the poor uneducated masses. How patronizing. How bigoted. It's White middle-class thinking. The mind-set of the Cohen people is obvious: Stevey;s daddy was a doctor and smart and Stevey is smart. Thank God we have him here, because we would be hard-press to find a colored person as smart and capable as he is.
autoegocrat, or whatever you call yourself...I guess I should used a fake name and hide my identity, in order to make questionable comments. I am not that much of a coward. -- U Wrote: Is this the same Bob Compton who gave $2100 to Ed Bryant. The answer: NO. Have I ever given money to Steve Cohen? Don't know; the stalls had a divider.
If my criteria for electing someone to represent me were: intelligence, education, phoniness, selfishness and the ability to manipulate the electorate, I would try to raise Richard Nixon from the dead, have him change parties and get self-loathing blacks to support. Then I'd sit around in my underwear (at a computer) praising Mr. Nixon for his great work and good character. Since I have a choice, I will not be voting for Stephen Ira "Milhous" Cohen. I'll be voting early for Nikki.
Stork, To suggest that "the money is ALL dirty," is is the height of cynicism and one of those broad-brush statements that just can't be true. Also untrue, Cohen debate gaffe, "I always vote against my personal financial interest." Really? ALWAYS? Where was Jackson Baker to point out the Bush-League absurdity of that lie? Oh, I know, he was busy pointing out how articulate Cohen is. Yes, Cohen is articulate compared to a black kid born into poverty, but for a guy whose daddy was a doctor, he comes off as what he is: an arrogant panderer with a frat-boy mentality, who, in private, no doubt, is cursing the poor trash he has to phony-it-up-for, so he can try to get their votes. He must be thinking, "Why can't I just be in a district where most people are Jewish or White and have graduate degrees. Those are the people who understand me."
Steve Cohen is 22 days away from becoming a footnote in congressional political history. Twenty years from now, Nikki TInker will have completed 2 decades of great service in the House of Representatives. When someone will asks Nikki, "What ever happened to Steve Cohen?" She'll say, "Oh that 80-year old confirmed bachelor has been serving as a U.S. Ambassador all over the world: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and, most recently, Turkey.
Here are some suspicious, strange and interesting dollars that have come the way of our Jesus-like congressman...Steve Cohen. Steve received $3,000 from the Human Rights Campaign PAC, which advocates for gays, lesbians and bisexuals. The Honorable Mr. Cohen received $4,600 from STUDENTS, who live out of state and are TURKS. I think I now understand Cohen's steadfast appreciation for Genocide Denial. AND, he got a THOUSAND bucks from a former REPUBLICAN congressman: Bob Livingston. Bobby-boy made more than a million dollars lobbying to KILL the Armenian Genocide Resolution. Bobby was a registered foreign agent, working for the TURKS. Bobby Livngston, you might remember, was almost Speaker of the House, until he resigned amid a sex-scandal with a drug lobbyist. Livingston no longer works for the Turks...now he lobbies for Libya!!!!! Steve Cohen keeps interesting company: a disgraced former GOP congressman and RICH TURKISH-American college students. Is that money dirty? You decide.
