He who laughs last, laughs loudest. You cannot make the comments that Cohen made on Fox news and get away with it. This sneering diatribe was hate speech, pure and simple. Sit back and see what happens. There is nothing you or any of the Cohen youth can do to take back what he said to news camera. Out 25,000 dollars? Big deal. The footage was priceless.
The analogy was used in response to the comment about the alleged irrelevance of a politician doing a moral wrong, if it does not affect the day to day lives of that politician's constituents. It's a simple concept.
That's called an analogy.
It was Cohen's vigorous efforts against the resolution that stand out. Couple that with his putative conscience for other historical issues and you have one schizophrenic freshman congressman. Pushing a frail, elderly person down a flight of stairs may not affect the lives of the majority of Cohen's constituents and it certainly won't change the gas price, but it is still f'ing immoral. If he makes an about face on this issue and becomes an advocate for recognition, I would consider supporting him, as I did when he ran the first time. Until then, forget it.
One who disagrees with the incumbent is a troll, is it? Being in favor of maintaining the current state of affairs in Memphis and in Congress (with the lowest approval rating in recorded history) is as baffling of a notion as I have encountered. Thirty years of service brought us this? I am voting for change. I am voting for Tinker.
