Hey since you seem to be such a huge jason statham fan, I'm suprised you haven't reviewed the second crank movie, its supposed to be pretty good.
actually my comment was on the superbad review, one more thing to mr. engelking, mesa pizza does exist, heres a link, http://twincities.metromix.com/restaurants/pizza/mesa-pizza-minneapolis/388230/content
does anyone read these comments?
although I agree the seth rogan's performance is more then offputting, why don't the other two boys of the trilogy redeem superbad? I think that michael cera's wavering, unsure, insecure role was incredibly realistic and funny. I think thats why this particular movie resonated so much with people, how real it feels to teenagers right now. The comparison to dazed and confused is way off, the role of the huge jocks ready to paddle the freshmen doesn't even exist, while the vernacular of superbad is exactly what is spoken now. I'm not saying it was a spectacular movie, but I think it should be noted in its originality and separation from what other adults condsider to be "teen comedy"
