One can only hope.
The Coliseum has not been maintained since it's construction. The Air Conditioning and Heat has no controls other than On and Off. The lighting was obsolete in 1968. (Yes it is true, 1968) The seating cannot be repaired. The piping in the concrete slab is very badly corroded from years of neglect. The building does not comply with accessability requirements and for all practical purposes cannot be made to do so.
The United States Justice Department will not allow the building to be used for graduation services.
I have a very soft place in my heart for the Coliseum. I have spent many more hours in the building than most. It hurts but. . .The Coliseum is a dead dinosaur. It is time for it to join Russwood Park. Lets crush it and move on.
