Re: “The "Movies" List: Two Guys and a Girl

Y Tu Mama Tambien was so hot my cable box melted!
I like Irving Berlin's 1942 holiday classic "Holiday Inn." Jim Hardy (Crosby) and Ted Hanover (Astaire) vie for the talent and affection of the young and sultry Linda Mason (Marjorie Reynolds).

Re: “The "Movies" List: Gangsters

Menace ll Society gets overshadowed by Boyz in the Hood, Colors & New Jack City but it is one of my favorite films of its kind and is near he top of my most favorite movies. you are right about the Hughes Bothers. What disappointments.

Re: “Review: Hung, "Pilot"

I may be starved for quality entertainment but I thought the pilot was handled well. It was not all about the co-tagonist in Jane's zipper. I can digest the story a bit because the setting looks like a moderate-paced, mid American tail, filled with "everyday people." I like everyday people. I am everyday people (shout out to Sly) and we live interesting and challenging lives too! I only wonder if this guy can get put out of business by some dude with a bottle of Enzyte.

Re: “Back-Up Guard Candidates

How about UFA's like Luther Head or Juan Dixon? They are capable reserves and could have a low asking price. Not sure about Head's health situation. I like them better than the guys who are at or over 30.

Re: “Burger King Calls Global Warming "Baloney"

fancycwabs,
Why couldn't you just post "first" like the other geeks?

BK has taken blatant stands for high calorie, high fat food ("meat on top of meat, on top of cheese...") and paraded it as a virtue, now this? They deserve to be left behind in the fast food wars.
