Parker will probably play much better in this game than he has the last few. If he does, one option would be to put TA on him and Battier on Ginobili on defense. Conley would be on Jefferson, but I'd be willing to risk it to keep Parker and Ginobili quiet.
It comes down to execution. The grizzlies haven't executed particularly well in either of the first two games. Hopefully, playing at home in front of a sold out and hopefully loud crowd, we can convert those steals into points and get ZBo back in the flow of things.
Healthy and on a roll. True test coming in this back to back set. Time to see if the newly found team defense sticks when the going gets tough in Texas.
Agree with you on every single point. The offensive scheme up to this point in the season has been questionable at best. Same goes for the defensive scheme as well.
Lionel Hollins NEEDS to put this guys in a position where they are most comfortable and most successful. Your points on Z-Bo are right on the money. How can every single fan and media personality know Z-Bo's strengths and Coach Hollins still have him play as a dump it down low post player type?
You really don't need a third part to talk about the bench. What is there to talk about?
Great writeup as usual. You know, I felt bad for Thabeet, but my gosh, he is so frustrating. I held back for a long time, but I blew a gasket by the 3rd and started booing myself. How can someone that big go for layups instead of dunks? He needs to go to the Dwight Howard school of dunking the crap out of the ball.
I'm guessing the NJ Nets are in the 8th spot under the assumption Melo is there before the trade deadline.
He'll be getting a good chunk of minutes since Marc tweaked his ankle. Hopefully he responds since he will be playing along side the starters. He needs to develop better court awareness and fluidity more than anything else.
