Can Chris attend the event and follow up on this article?
"Don't pay to audition, don't audition in a private residence, and don't take off your clothes at an audition," used to appear in every issue of Backstage magazine with the audition notices.

Ekundayo was a theatre major at Southwest Tennessee Community College (then Shelby State). He appeared in our department plays, directed his own plays, took many classes, attended the Blues in Theatre Symposium featuring Woody King in Louisville with our department, toured Actors Theatre of Louisville with us and attended two of their plays. He was also frequently backstage during Ruby O. Gray's productions in our theatre and our Beale Street Ensemble summer theatre. Obviously Southwest is a viable resource for the intrepid spirit.

Paul Koziel was the beatbox.
