Beets pulled right out of your own garden roasted with a little butter: Lovely! Otherwise, I'm always thinking I need a do-over. Beet greens, on the other hand, are a nice addition to other greens. I think I like the greens best.
My worst kitchen mishap was pureeing hot squash in my blender and forgetting to hold down the lid; a common mishap with the blender, I know, but nonetheless significant if you are the one cleaning up.
Oven suggestion? Sliced Japanese eggplant tossed with lots of chopped (and fresh) banana pepper and thyme and tossed with olive olive and kosher salt. Bake at 400 degrees until tender.

Bringing this thread back to burgers: I had lunch at Five Guys today and ate a Little Burger (yes, some of us at CMI eat meat and like it). My short take: tastes like Wendy's and is too expensive.
