Re: “Pancho's

Yes I too grew up on Pancho's famous cheese dip. In fact, until I was an adult, I had no idea that their tangy and spicy dip (served cold) was not a traditional chile con queso. While I have grown to love more authentic Mexican dips, as well, there is nothing quite like quenching your craving for some Pancho's cheese dip.

They offer a menu full of Tex-Mex favorites including tacos, burritos, chimichangas, taco salads, and quesadillas that are great and I also always order the mini chicken guadalajara, it's fabulous, give it a try!! Their Mexican Pizza is one of the best in town too!

All of that being said, it is very much worth noting that most Pancho's meals are priced at $10 or less. With adequate portion sizes and FREE chips and dip, a meal at Pancho's is a great deal!

Surprisingly enough, the ambience at Pancho's is rather romantic. The entire restaurant is dimly lit and Latin music plays softly overhead. The restaurant boasts several semi-private booths creating an intimate setting. We've reserved a room for birthday celebrations and had a great time, just keep in mind this is an older building so if looking for fancy, go elsewhere but if looking for great Memphis Tex-Mex style food at a wonderful price and fabulous service, this is the spot!

Though not fine-dining by any means, Pancho's is a nice place for a casual or semi-romantic couple's meal or family celebration.
