Okay-this makes sense. Trade Gay to Philly for Evan Turner (lower salary, younger, higher PER, higher 3pt percent and more assists and boards) and Hawes to back up Gasol and Zack or Nick Young to give us some scoring from our scoring guard spot. It works with the ESPN trade machine.
Pryzbilla would add some additional toughness. More that Haddadi for sure.
Hey Chris - What is the story on Rudy's Foundation Flight 22? Who is on the board and who collects salaries?
We have seen that Thabeet and Gasol can play together for short stretches of time. An injury to Zach (who has a history) could be covered by moving Gasol to center and starting Thabeet. Both those guys could end up being a nice combo.
Wow…a lot of comments. Lost in all of this is not what Iverson is saying but what Coach Hollins is saying. He seems to be level headed and calm about the whole thing. Also he is asserting his position as coach and the one who decides playing time, not AI or even Heisley. Let’s see if he can keep his cool for the remainder of the season.
How about reaching his potential as a Joe Dumars type? They have similar body types and athleticism levels. If we could find a dynamic point things could work just fine.
Re: “Silver Lining Playbook: Darrell Arthur's Value and Tony Wroten's Promise Amid Roster Uncertainty.”
Wroten is an exciting offensive player. His defense, unfortunately, is lacking in effort. If he wants to play for Hollins he needs to step the defense up.
