Donny Flowers is a player for all seasons and all surfaces! Better yet, he's a gentleman's gentleman: never a terse word or thought, and always lighting up the arena with that sparkling face and cheerio-smile! What a pleasure to know him and to share time with him, on or off the courts! He and Marty Pearson recently won the 2009 Alex Wellford tournament in Memphis, beating Keith Evans and his partner by driving them crazy with Donny's unstoppable style of play!! It was an upset of the first degree to anyone but those who know what it's like to face Donny Flowers when he wants to win!
