Re: “The Night They Raided the Highland Strip

before the bust, it was a great place to be. the people were fun and exciting. the guys were great looking. the pot was cheap, plentiful, and excellent. it was our version of the drive-thru soda shop. all the guys I knew that played pinball at Pop-I's were gentleman and I learned to play a pretty mean pinball myself. after the junkies took over, the Strip lost it's magic. don't have much to say about the Candy Man, as he was a narc. I knew it. everybody knew it. but, somebody had to do it. I was actually on my way there that fateful night after I got off from work out in East Memphis at 9:00pm. my guardian angel had my back nice and proper that night. Overton Park, here I come. my strip name was , Strawberry, because my mother sewed a strawberry patch on every piece of clothing I owned that wasn't my school uniform. best days of my life. peace

Re: “The Rant

Texas League? How or why would you compare the ignorance of a terrorist to anything with Texas as the preface? WTF? Natural disasters are just that, natural. Can't do or say much to prevent them. But, if you want to know what happened out there in The Gulf of Mexico, find Part 1 and Part 2 of the 60 Minutes segments, and listen carefully. BP is the bad guy. Really bad guy. And ease up on Texas will ya? Penned by a born and raised Memphian, transplanted in Houston, TEXAS.

Peace,
