Food for thought: Is there much of a stretch between the actions of Mr. Kapernick (a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.) and the actions of John Carlos, Tommy Smith, Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, or Jim Brown. in their prime?

@ C.L. Mullins:
So true. England, France, and Germany all had colonies or alliances in the Muslim world. This nation has sizable populations of citizens of Puerto Rican, Filipino, Hmong, and Vietnamese heritage. The unintended consequences of imperial actions.
When I hear the term "Southern Baptist", my mind defaults to these monuments from my adolescence:
CAB Citizens Against Busing
BBHS Briarcrest Baptist High School
OBA Oakhaven Baptist Academy
TO Towering Oaks Baptist Academy
SBEC Southern Baptist Educational Center
Frayser Baptist Academy
Etc, etc, etc.....

I'm alluding to quality of content. I firmly believe that the CA can stabilize and thrive within the MSA. I find the quality of those other two papers to be superior to the CA.
If the CA really focused on quality investigative reporting, throughout the MSA, while balancing its coverage with the good and the bad, it would be a thriving metropolitan daily. The Times-Picayune in NOLA and the The Tennesseean in Nashville seem to thrive.
