I took some friends to the High Tea at the Madison yesterday...what a disappointment. We were seated and our tea was brought and then left to wait almost an hour for what was a joke. The sandwiches were terrible, the bread stale, a scone that was definitely not made in the kitchen and 3 petits fours that you can buy in a Wal-Greens. No music, no chocolate bar...an embarrassment for me and should be for Madison. We love Grill 83 and I thought this would be a reflection of the same quality. They need to do some research about High Teas.
