Not one to grumble but it didn't help playing Georgetown and the Ref's the whole first half and most of the second half....there's no doubt that we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean, but having to deal with so many BS calls and NO calls didn't help the Tigers.....the Ref's can change the flow of the game with these types of calls.....even with our inexperience and missed shots ,we still hung around most of the game....and I will say that Georgetown is a very disciplined team and definitely a stronger team than Kansas
and should go far in the tournment
Definitely showing my age here......but I remember the Al's on South Perkins as I lived a few streets away and passed it everyday.....and also visited there quite often...until this article, I had forgotten all about the place....it was THE place to go back in the day.......
Too bad it went the way other great places of the day left us such as Shakey's Pizza, Bellevue Drive Inn, and the old Skateland on Summer Ave.
Re: “Tigers 76, Southern Miss 75”
WHAT A GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The second quarter had to be one of the best efforts I have seen these young Tigers play this year.... If they could put two quarters together like this second one, then we will have a team that others will fear.... and as Chris said in the post game show " make their little buttholes tighten up " LOL GOTIGERSGO
