I was with them for 20 years and once I passed 10, I used to say I was just doing time because being a female in Mgt was hard as hell to stomach most of the time. I was a D.M. for seven years and had store managers that made more money then me and when Rose Auto Parts went under, all of their people came to A.Z. and were hired at almost double of my salary for the same position. They were all men of course I think I was the "token" female. I started when they only had 300 stores and everyone knew everyone. I was proud to be part of a new and promising company but then they became too big to care anymore and the "clicks" developed.
