and to clarify my statements, he does care. he cares when he loses and when he doesn't get on the allstar team. he wants to be a good player.
just sometimes he needs a killer instinct. basically, he needs to be a dick on the court.
great read. its possible he's trying to do too much. 21 shots. he usually excels when he the game come to him.
but everyone is going to have a poor shooting night. You'd like to see him still go hard at the boards and play tough defense.
without sounding too crude, he LOOKED like he was playing in a charity game. there was a specific instance when durant lost his dribble and immediately gay reacted by letting up on durant. and then durant drove past him baseline for a dunk. oops.
I agree, Antonio Barton all the way
what's there to say? there's about a dozen grizz-centric articles everywhere I turn. the grizz are on the front page of every website (espn, cbs, nba, si). I'm used to being able to consume all grizz media, but when your team is the number one story in sports for a day it's getting difficult. couple items that I haven't read:
-Grizzlies have said they haven't done anything. One thing they have done is tell an aging Spurs team that they are not good enough to get out of the Western Conference.
-Do the Spurs believe they can come back?
-the maturity of the Grizz cannot be overstated
-Funny how a couple playoff wins make Lionel look like a really good coach. Epic halftime speech? He's like a grumpy Doc Rivers. Former player. Player's like him. Glad to have him
big games coming up. i think grizz need to win both for a shot to win the series. keep the homecourt advantage
Dont expect to see Splitter at all. maybe Haddadi style minutes but nothing more than that. The Grizz tore him apart in the regular season.
Re: “Letter From the Editor”
no. but it's incredibly entertaining
