I wanna know what business in its right mind is against Bike Lanes..really is it gonna hurt your profit margin that bad?
I love My team to death and have a great amount of respect for all players and Coaches, but you want U of M to really hit rock bottom? Give them a scrimmage against South Panola High. One of the highest ranking High school football teams in the nation. Let them get their asses handed to them by a high school team and then I guarantee heads will roll starting with Mr. A.D.!
I agree MIM is pulling the old wizard of oz trick..."pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". Obviously the river is going to flood and obviously it will put a damper on festivities, but MIM wants you to know that you can still enjoy spending your money in the rain and flooded areas. Safety first...HA! I get the location value, Tom Lee Park is big and it shows off one of our biggest assets "The river". Look at the crap shoot time of year we have MIM. Out of 10 years (I'm assuming here) we have probably had maybe 3 or 4 good weather weekends for MIM. Changing location to a different venue might not be a bad idea. Its not so much the rain that bothers people, its the MUD as well. If they are going to spend all that money on entertainment every year, don't you think they should take weather and poor ticket sales in account. I was going to go on Sunday thinking thats plenty of time for it to dry up from these storms this week, but now its going to rain Sunday. I'm going to have just as much fun staying at home and watching VH-1 in the comfort of my dry APT. Don't be sold on the hype MIM will be another washout (literally) this year. Unless you want to stay wet all weekend I'd stay at home.
