Re: “Actor stops show, tells patron to turn her cell phone off

It is no longer an "accident" when the rude idiot decided to just let it ring during the play instead of turning it off immediately.

Re: “Unplanned Parenthood

CCHS is a provider on my health insurance. I would not go there if I were bleeding from my eyes, much less go to a church affiliated clinic for reproductive health issues. They lied. They lied and said they were ready to provide the services they were contracting for. They lied, plain and simple.

Re: “Mixed Messages From the August 2 Election Round

I was one of the District 93 voters who got an incorrect ballot and caught it during early voting. I have NO confidence in the results of that primary. I want to see proof that the misdirected ballots did not make a substantial difference, or I want a special election. I went through every political contact in my arsenal to get my ballot fixed for election day. Many people were unaware until yesterday that theirs was wrong, and many are still unaware. I want to see hard data or see the darn mess completely voided and recast.

Re: “Candidate Ross Says 1,019 Wrong Ballots Given Out So Far

Actually, he does have the facts. He links to the data on his blog, vibinc, and it is all available information that he cites. The other side to this story is that a private citizen with a laptop can get this data correctly and our freaking election commission cannot. That is the story.

Re: “Gateway Sex

Oh let's just dress the kids in head to toe hazmat suits. Wait, that might cause gender confusion...

Re: “Safe Place

As a faculty member, I am proud to be Safe Zone certified. It is a wonderful program that provides us with information on where to direct students for help if they are being bullied or discriminated against. College, especially a large campus like UofM, can be a daunting place to navigate for any student, and the training allows me to better help both my straight and LGBT students that may be experiencing problems on campus.
